We are located in the classic beach town of Playa Negra, in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica. Our tours are convenient for guests staying in Playa Avellanas, Playa Negra, Playa Junquillal, Hacienda Pinilla, and even Tamarindo.

To fish this area of the Guanacaste we have to really earn it. There is no marina, no gas station nearby, no tackle shop, no bait barges, or marine supplies. Its bumpy dirt roads and miles of rugged coastline. It takes a lot of heart and determination to chase these fish. But every seafood dinner tastes that much better when you know the catch is fresh and sourced with your own two hands.

Beautiful Barred Pargo caught on the on the side reef. We are so lucky to have these amazing fish so close to our zone. A ten minute boat ride and we start fishing!
More Yellow Fin Tuna for the ladies! They were excited for their first fishing trip in Costa Rica.
This is one of our favorite fish. Yellow Fin Tuna is exceptional for sushi, poke and just about anything else. Costa Rica providing again.
A prize catch on the inshore reef. The Barred Pargo is a tough fighting Snapper that is only found in Central America. Costa Rica has the perfect bottom structure for these fish.
A nice Grouper on my favorite 100gram jig. These are angry fish and fight hard. They are also perfect for grilling and frying. My personal favorite recipe is a Panko crusted fried Grouper taco with wasabi/mayo/lime sauce.
Look at the colors on this Barred Pargo! Costa Rica is home to some of the most amazing fish!
A nice Yellow Fin Tuna for our lady angler. She wasn't afraid to get a little bloody for a fresh fish dinner.
Check out this awesome Snapper caught on the jig! These are tough fighting fish and taste incredible! Costa Rica is home to many species of Snappers. Generally found in water at least 100 feet deep.
A proper trophy fish! This Cubera Snapper was caught in 25 feet of water and almost ripped the pole out of our anglers hands. Talk about an insane battle! Costa Rica once again proving it is a world class fishing destination.
Another trophy Cubera Snapper. This fish was caught in 100 feet of water and almost came off at the boat. The hook was just barely hanging in the lip.

Great Almaco Jack. These are great eating and really fun to catch on the jigs. They are tough and give some heavy head shakes.
Fishing with kids is so much fun. We really enjoying sharing our knowledge and experience with the younger generations. These are trips that they will remember forever!
Showing the kids a small Trigger fish that we released back to the reef. Learning about the ocean wildlife is a big part of our trips.

We take a lot of pride in our fish processing. Our goal is to always treat every fish with the utmost care. Bled, cleaned and immediately put on ice.
Ladies crushed it with multiple Snappers and Jacks. They were seasoned anglers and it really showed.
Big Horse Eye Jack caught on a top water lure in 30 feet of water. Talk about a scrappy fish! These guys pull really hard.

One of our favorite fish to target is the Dorado. These are some of the most incredible fish. They grow extremely fast and have a massive appetite. When they hit a lure they crush it! Usually followed by big jumps and a solid battle for the angler.
